Hello, I'm Caleb Christensen!
I'm a self-hoster and FOSS advocate focused on bootstrapping trust from bare metal up. This site is my public lab notebook, documenting that pursuit through projects involving reproducible Debian installs, SPI-flashed firmware analysis, and verifiable build chains.
My long-term explorations, from hardening a Raspberry Pi with the seL4 microkernel to experimenting with Zero-Knowledge Proofs, are all guided by a single question: How can we build technology that empowers the individual?
For me, the process is as important as the outcome. My entire workflow is managed within a single Emacs environment, a workspace built to embody the same principles I strive for in my projects: transparency, user control, and infinite inspectability.
This site is the living document of that pursuit.
